<Shrug> Still quite a few book shops  around here, Barnes & Noble, Borders, 
used bookstores. Guess it depends  where you are. 

A long time used bookstore did go out of business  recently, but I was sort 
of expecting it. One can buy used books on Amazon  cheaply. Amazon has put a 
lot of used bookstores out of business. OTOH, my  favorite used book store is 
still going. They also do things like have a book  club, have writers do 
signings, etc.
