"America is the only nation in history which miraculously has gone directly from barbarism to degeneration without the usual interval of civilization." --- Clemenceau ============= <Shrug> Still quite a few book shops around here, Barnes & Noble, Borders, used bookstores. Guess it depends where you are. A long time used bookstore did go out of business recently, but I was sort of expecting it. One can buy used books on Amazon cheaply. Amazon has put a lot of used bookstores out of business. OTOH, my favorite used book store is still going. They also do things like have a book club, have writers do signings, etc. Marnie --------------------------------------------- Warning: I am now filtering my email, so you may be censored. **************You're invited to Hollywood's biggest party: Get Oscars updates, red carpet pics and more at Moviefone.
