I bought a Velbon Sherpa 250R a year or two back - this one:

I haven't used it alot, but I'm quite happy with the performance its
given me.  Mind you, I'm not putting humungous lenses on it, so I
haven't been stressing it out...

You're more than welcome to try it out.  Let me know if you'd like to
