I prefer #2 - it reminds me of the colours in original Egyptian art.  The
picture appears to be of the goddess Bast, as she is cat-faced and wears the
crown of Lower Egypt only, while carrying an Ankh, the symbol of eternal
life.  However, the inclusion of a lotus flower is odd, as this is the
symbol of Upper Egypt!

Any idea why it should be found on the shore of Lake Michigan, in what
appears to be a quarry?

Hi Everyone:  I found some painted art on the rocks & some playful light 
along the Lake Michigan shore on a short photowalk last Saturday.  There are

3 different renderings here.  I'd be interested in knowing if you had a 
preference.  The 2nd rendering is pretty much as seen--as they say :-).
