Of course not.

Generally speaking, neither does the photography store employee.
They're there to sell stuff, not give good advice.

Good, fast, cheap, pick two; the only place the local store can compete
is on fast, and that's only if they carry substantial inventory.  I can
and probably will get better advice online, starting here, than I'm ever
going to get in the store.
