I personally have taken a liking to and using a few of the Tamron SP
adaptall2 lenses and
some Tokina AT-X series lenses with nice results. That's
about it for me. The vast majority of my weapons are still
the real deal K/M/A SMC Pentax lenses though.

I use Pentax lenses almost exclusively, and rely on the DA* zooms most
of the time. It's the first -- and probably the best -- version of
this lens.
