Before I lucked into a great deal on a Pentax A* 300/2.8 I used to
own the Tamron Adaptall version, which produced excellent results.
Apart from that, and a Vivitar 19-35 (which I still have, somewhere)
I haven't used non-Pentax glass (apart from TCs) for over 30 years.
