Vivitar S1 70-210mm f 2.8~4.0 (Version 3). The S1 35-70mm f2.8 varifocus is also very good, though a K lens and not as convenient (handling refocusing and stop down metering can sometimes become hectic).

Whar are your favorite third party lenses (non pentax)
that you all like to use on your Pentax DSLR/SLR?
I personally have taken a liking to and using a few of the Tamron SP
adaptall2 lenses and
some Tokina AT-X series lenses with nice results. That's
about it for me. The vast majority of my weapons are still
the real deal K/M/A SMC Pentax lenses though.

The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or
drinking; he can ruin himself with gambling. If he does he is certainly a damn
fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a
free man any more than a dog.
