Only thing that surprised me is that image review after capture would last longer than expected to show up (usually I use the RAW+ setting). I thought this would be same or faster than K20 (because the K-x has smaller files and faster processing) yet it takes a whole lotta more. Maybe the extra processing power is eaten up by the new features which I all turned on (shadow correction, distortion correction, lateral chromatic aberation correction).
These features eat a huge amount of processing power. Turn them off and the camera will be much more responsive.
