The DA* is a good standard lens. I love mine, but I don't use it as much as it deserves. Because I find it a bit to big, heavy and intruding.
At the moment I'm using the DA 18-250 as my walk about. Its smaller and lighter than the DA*, and a bit better than the normal kit zoom in the normal range. But that not a good solution, it not good enough, and it is not sealed. That's why I want a god compact sealed normal zoom. The DA 17-70 is the closest there is at the moment, But as I read the reports, it is not good enough in the short tele range. And it is not compact. That why I ask. Please make something similar to the old FA 20-35, but a wee bit longer and sealed please. -- MaritimTim http://maritimtim.blogspot.com/ 2009/12/11 Mark Roberts <[email protected]>: > P N Stenquist wrote: > >>The DA* 16-50/2.8 is my APS-C standard lens > > Same here.
