That's my fear, Will, that Pentax will release a FF and relegate APS-C
to entry-level duties. I'm one of those that is in favour of the K-7
philosophy: A compact APS-C DSLR with advanced capabilities. I don't
know that Pentax could support two flagships like Canon and Nikon do.
In fact, it would be *three* flagships if we include the 645D.

I do think Pentax should release a FF camera, but I don't think it
should quit making advanced APS-C models either. One way for Pentax to
differenciate itself from the pack would be to offer two advanced
cameras with exactly the same feature set and controls, and similar
bodies; the difference would be the larger one would have a FF sensor
and the smaller one an APS-C. None of this crippling APS-C models
because the FF flagship gets preferential treatment that goes on in
Canikon.

Cheers,

 --M.
