I started with a K1000. I really liked the results. I changed bodies (owned MX, ME Super, LX and ZX-M. Also used ZX-5n and ZX-7), lenses (a lot, now just 4, all primes), and always was satisfied with the results. I love the optical performance of the lenses. SMC is fantastic. I really like the feeling of lenses and bodies and it's design and concept. I don't have a reason to switch to other brands. It fills my needs, at least by now.
