Walk is good, but there are times when zoom can be better. For
instance, when you want to significantly alter your DOF. Or when
walking would get you in deep doo-doo. I worked for 30 years without
owning a zoom lens, but now that Pentax zooms are at least the equal
of most primes, zooming is a very attractive option.
