I know the Canon would be slow. But I'm okay with that. I'm working on
a Mac, so I'm just wary that I won't be able to use the thing. Does
the current version of Vuescan still support the FS4000?

I think I might give the Plustek a try. The 7400 is on sale for $220
right now. The samples I've seen look pretty good. And Adorama has a
satisfaction guarantee anyway, don't they?
