As someone else pointed out later in the thread, the auction was revised. Before, both the title and the description mentioned f1.2, and said things like "this is the fastest lens Pentax ever made." > BTW Juan, your mail is another example of the problem that was discussed > here last week: you say, in effect, GO SEE THIS! and never bother to say > what it is that the reader should expect to see. Well, actually I did say something like "I was jumping at it until I realized from the pictures that it is a 50mm/2 and not a 50mm/1.2". I even quoted the BIN price. I'd suppose this is enough info to realize what the auction was without clicking on the link... > BTW, many sellers, intentionally or not, say 1.2 when they should say 1:2; > if you are going to be looking for a 1.2, you need to get used to such > differences between what it says on the lens and what the seller says. And if a lens with a $200-300 value has a BIN for $75, that should be > your first clue that maybe the lens for sale is not the one with a $200-300 > value. Well, I did get a mint K24/3.5 for $50 last year, plus a few other bargains. That's the kind of thing ebay is good for. To pay full price, I'll buy from KEH and get a money-back guarantee.
