Note: The question, which is quoted accurately, was not, "Is this stuff worth
anything?" which is itself open to interpretation, but "Is this type of work
worthy of exhibitions?" Quite a different question.

I just watched the video again -- third time, at least: This is not an accurate
quote. What he says is, "I can't believe I'm doing this." In the context of the
interview it's clear what he's referring to: It's to what he is doing: Scanning
negatives, developing film, bringing the work to the attention of others,
consulting with knowledgeable people, responding to requests for exhibitions,
seeking exhibitions, etc., etc.
I think it's cool that someone who didn't train for this kind of work, who
until he encountered her work had no interest in photography, has nevertheless
fallen into it, and as near as I can tell, doing a thoroughly commendable job.
Still just my two cents.
