Original as in Marchioni Bros. We bought it on eBay for $80, including S&H, 10 years ago. The advantage of it is that it is very steady and rugged. But it is rather heavy and bulky, and what's worse, dealing with aluminum leaves hands dirty.
According to the descriptions I read on the web, one of its legs (and I found which one - it unscrews), - can be used as a monopod.
