(I'm an old stick in the mud as I prefer to work on one big display rather than manage multiple displays.)
I just ordered a new Apple CD27" as I prefer the image rendering it provides over other choices. I was reluctant about the glossy finish on the screen until I worked on an iMac 27" for a couple of months. Now I'm sure it will be fine.
