just a quick somewhat related question on the side: I recently picked up in the bay four hotshoe adaptors F and two spiral cords to connect them. two of the Fs have a broken casing and will ultimately fail although I think that may be some time away yet. hence my question: with the AF-540FGZ I can plug the cable directly into the flash; is there any benefit from using the adaptor F other than for daisychaining with two adaptors stacked underneath the flash? and, for lack of a manual, can I safely stack themwithout ill effect on my gear? thanks Ecke
