But this comparison is a bit unfair. It's easy to pick any lens in any manufacturers to make a point. It's true that the Pentax FA* 80-200/2.8 is expensive but it's equally true that the Pentax FA* 28-70/2.8 is cheaper than the competition from Nikon and Canon. So the whole thing evens out...
