My A* 300/2.8 is also all white. I have seen an A* 400/2.8 which had the slightest
green cast, or maybe a gray cast which had metamerism (in this case shifting to 
slightly green cast in daylight color temperature ?). The white on the A* 300/2.8
is pure white with no green shift (at least on my sample).
