My question is fluorescent or incandescent lighting? I built my basement darkroom this weekend, and have put a florescent light fitting in there forgetting it continues to throw off light after being switched off. Does this small amount of afterglow actually cause a problem? It is after all dimmer than the light thrown off by my darkroom timer's glow in the dark numbers. Any thoughts / experiences / recommendations? should I replace the fitting with a tungsten bulb (I prefer the lighting as it is right now)?
