I have to say, I don't know why I haven't used it more. I'm extremely
surprised at how sharp the thing is. Considering I got it in a bunch
of about 5 lenses for which I paid a total of $100, I'm extremely
pleased with it.

Yes, the background is a bit desaturated, and I know some (most?)
aren't fond of that sort of gimmickry. But, I'm a contrarian.
I like it a lot, Walt. I also like the background texture/grain in that.
Did you add that in PP?
In any event, comments and critiques are welcome -- even if it's just
to bitch about the desaturation. I was just so pleasantly surprised
with the sharpness that I had to share. Also, I'm pleasantly
surprised with the noise at ISO 800 on the K100D Super. I was
expecting much more than is there. Thanks, Larry!

Heh. Work with ISO 1600 and especially 3200 for a while. You'll see
noise all right.
