Exactly. The view that you can't do decent photography if you use JPG is blinkered, IMO. I use RAW when I want to give myself maximum overhead for post processing or where the shoot is a once in a lifetime sort of thing (as in my recent flight over lake Eyre), but for a lot (most, even) of my photography, JPG works just fine (for me).
