I have the mixed fortune of traveling a lot, so the opportunities are
right in my face.  The only two conscious efforts I make are:

- When I’ve got some shooting time in a new place, I pick one prime
and work all day with that. Forces a viewpoint on me; also, less to
carry.
- Be brave about shooting in difficult lighting situations: Into the
sun, extreme contrast, & so on
