No. 300mm is the 8x10 "normal" so 150mm is like a 24mm on 135, or roughly 18mm on the Pentax DSLR. It is not rectilinear at all. It is a true plasmat wide angle with a normal rendering. Plasmats have the best image rendering but are not very fast. The rare symmetricals wider than 5.6 have a "glow" and even 5.6 can be questionable in certain situations. Of the 5 LF lenses I own, 2 are plasmats, 2 are Tessars, and 1 (B&L/Zeiss Protar VII) is especially unique.
