I really ought to look for a good book on the subject. Any body have
recommendations?

Thanks. I also take some comfort in the fact that since the vast majority of
the copies I print will be going as holiday gifts to family and friends, the
audience will be about as uncritical and easily impressed as it gets. I've
also learned a lot about using InDesign from this project, so that will be a
big help when I start working on some of the more serious projects that I have
in mind.

I've mentioned my friend Candice before. Her profession is graphic design, so I
also sent her a copy to get her feedback. Most of the deltas between 1 and 4
are from her suggestions. At some point she called me up and said, "just send
me the files, I'll fix it".
