First of all, let me say that when it comes to being intuitively
obvious and easy to use indesign sucks.
starting from scratch with InDesign for a non-trivial project is a
worst-case scenario; it would probably be worth working through a
video tutorial or book after this to see behind some of the issues
you encountered
I really ought to look for a good book on the subject. Any body have
recommendations?
http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-InDesign-Dummies-Deke-McClelland/dp/0764505998
It must be a good book if it gets this price:
Available from these sellers.
2 new from $431.78
Fortunately, the used price is a lot more reasonable.
Didn't even notice that. I just figured that if you can think of any
subject in the whole world, somebody has written a "for dummies" book
about it, and Amazon will offer it.
Sort of like a corollary to the "anything you can think of, there's
internet pr0n for it" meme. Except that there doesn't appear to be an
"Internet pr0n for Dummies" book ... yet.
Do you think the price is that high because they thought dummies
wouldn't know any better?
