And here in Queensland one pensioner has waited 15 years for cataract surgery, 
and has now
been told he is off the waiting list because his case is considered 
"non-urgent".  It took
him 9 years to even get on the list - now he has to find $4000 for private 
treatment -
this from our "caring " Labor government...

that sums up in one sentence why Europe is better than the USA. Over here 
someone at your
time of life would not pay anything - I was quite shocked to read that sentence.

Still, I'm glad to hear that things aren't too bad for you.
