I hardly ever use my PFA 50/1.4.   I use my dfa 50 macro a fair amount, and 
I'll use the 16-50 at 50 because it doesn't go any longer, but there aren't a 
lot of cases where the 50 is the right length and 31 or 77 aren't righter.

I've been there, but when a 58/1.4 was the only lens I had, that was on film, 
so the AOV was a lot closer to what we use a 40 for.
