It is a subtle moss green on my screen and looks as though it might have been shot from the shaded side.(?) It would make a nice detail shot, but I see it as slightly dark.

It's old and rusted and would probably be a decent subject in the hands of someone who's particularly adept at subtle HDR -- which I'm not. So, I figured I'd convert it over to a monochrome and give it a platinum process look, ad some grain and bump the contrast a bit. http://www.flickr.com/photos/walt_gilbert/6944438507/in/photostream/lightbox/ K100D, A 50/1.7, f/3.5, ISO 800, 1/2000 sec For some reason, Flickriver is showing a little .jpg link icon right in the middle of the photos at the moment, so I used the Flickr lightbox display. Here's the normal flickr display for those who don't get along with the lightbox. http://www.flickr.com/photos/walt_gilbert/6944438507/in/photostream/ Comments, critiques and suggestions welcome. I tend to have a heavy hand with filters and such, so if there's something that I could be doing to improve my images in that respect, please let me know. Thanks!
