Psst, it's only 2x the resolution, Tom (square root of 4x the number
of pixels)  :-)

I was tempted by the NEX-7 when it came out but Sony didn't have any
of my favourite lenses, and when they did bring them out, they seemed
too large. I would still like to handle one someday to see if I like
it despite my a priori issues. As for adapting old glass, I've done it
on many occasions on my Samsung NX10; I don't have too much of an
issue with focusing manually, it's the auto aperture closedown I miss!
Because of this I tend to shoot wide open. I shoot street; if I shot
landscapes the manual aperture closedown wouldn't be an issue. Such it
is.
