for a fascinating contrast, not too much farther west is the Very Large Array;
i took in both one day circa 2000, my last excursion with a film SLR
That's why I bought the interval timer, to see if I make one of those
star trails "movies" with the dishes in the foreground.
My current plan is to come back home around Feb 1, but I don't actually
*have* to be back here before mid March.
