TLRs are a bit of a pain in the butt to begin with, due to the framing
of the focusing lens not being the same as the framing of the taking
lens. By shooting 35mm film in a TLR, you eliminate the one advantage
that type of camera offers, a large negative, yet have to deal with its disadvantages.
I have a 75mm Rollei Schneider Xenar 3.5 that dates from the fifties
or earlier. I haven't used it since the seventies, because the focusing
screen is broken, but it was just an average lens. Decently sharp but
nothing exceptional, and the contrast was iffy in some situations. The
Pentax medium format lenses seem to be far superior.
