I'm interested in using my K3 for slide copying. What previously put me off is getting an exact match with extension tubes to make up for the crop sensor. OK if you have a FF camera, you can get 1:1 reproduction with a macro lens without the need for extension tubes. Would this lens potentially be the way forward for this task? Apart from speeding up the process, I would have the benefit of putting a decent size RAW file of the image to put into Lightroom or wherever and I wonder if it would capture more information of the image than an older scanner would? I expect you've all converted your slides years ago, but to me this is still a hot topic!
