Have you tried using a tablet before? Be aware that you may not take to it. I'm one of those people, so far, despite a few attempts. I just can't get the hang of avoiding registering false clicks and other random errors.
I bought the Creative Live seminar where an expert demonstrates tablet setup and use. I hope I'll get it this time after viewing that. OTOH, I've become quite a whiz at retouching with the mouse. Accuracy is not an issue, I've found. Hours of skin work at 200% will do that.
