Not having a K-3 I could be wrong in this but I don't think K-3 DNGs
can be opened in older versions of Photoshop. Running them through
the DNG converter and selecting the right compatibility mode for
Camera Raw, should enable them to open in older Photoshops. They end
up much larger, though.
