I had to read carefully to see what you were referring to, Chris. I should have written more carefully. Might've avoided the problem if I'd opted for a less awkward construction.
But you did make the right choice. We could've not hit it off, but it was literally a wonderful day. Only way it could've been improved was if Cotty could've joined us.
