A while back in my throes of LBA, I almost bought a 43, but I didn't
feel it gave me enough over my 40/2.8 to be worth the investment. I
have on many occasions wished that I had that focal length with that speed.

It's exactly what I like to shoot with, fits in a tiny bag, weighs almost
nothing, and makes very very nice photos!
