Unfortunately, I can't speak to the 24mm as the widest I currently have is a 28mm.
I am awaiting delivery of a 19mm prime Vivitar f3.8 lens though. I don't need the speed of the 24mm (or the auto focus for that matter) and the used Vivitar cost me a lot less than half the B&H price that you quote for the 24mm and offers a wider field of view. The only new lens I can find wider than 28mm that isn't really expensive is the 24mm f2.0 SMCP-FA IF lens that B&H sells for $350. Any experience w/ this lens? I'll be using it on a MF camera (Super A, Super Program), so if the focus ring has a super-short travel, I'm in trouble.
