Think about the size and the weight. Think about how either the FA24/2.0 and the K24/2.8 may feel when focusing. Think about the kind of images you like and would like to produce. Don't just buy a lens because it's sharper, or has "better" optics or "better" coatings. Find out what "better" means, and is it better for your needs. There are reasons why so many people like the older lenses ... and likewise the newer lenses. What's your reason for wanting a wider lens? Is it coincidental with the features and characteristics of the FA24/2.0, or the K24/2.8, or some other lens.
