Yes it is an opioid which is why I take it very cautiously.
Prescriptions are issued for only a small quantity with normally no
repeats.  My first prescription lasted almost 2 years. At this stage I'm
only taking a couple of doses in the morning and then I seem OK for the
rest of the day.  Hopefully the exercise routine will help the morning
pain gradually subside and I can leave the medication alone.
