While driving back from Houston, I stopped to see Meteor Crater in Arizona. While there, I saw a guy who had a nice Nikon camera and looked like he knew what he was doing with it. So I set up my camera for focus and exposure and asked him to snap my picture. It worked! I thought this was one of the better portraits of me made in recent years … and, stupidly, I forgot to get his name and address so I could send him a thank you note. Doh! :-)
