Bill- The rewind crank? Are you saying that I pull hard on the U shaped bit and the crank comes out from the top? Should I use anything to lube the shaft before reassembly, like a Teflon dry lube?

The Super Series can gett friction hang-up in the shaft/sleeve of the rewind crank. Mine has, but its easy fix. You just take out the rewind crank and clean/buff out the shaft and sleeve. Ya just need to hold the U end of the shaft firm to get the thing apart. It's not a whole lot of resistance, but winders don't like it. Got the tip from a list member (forget who - an oldtimer I think gone now) a few years ago. ... worth a try. Bill --------------------------------------------------------- Bill D.
