That's a good point, Ann, but every battery operated SLR camera I've
used will give at least *some* warning that the batteries are about to
crap out.  I've never seen a situation where one shot goes fine, and
then, without warning, the camera is dead because of batteries.  I know
that I've always been able to at least finish the roll of film that's in
the camera.
