They would, but only manually. ;)

I know a few Nikon shooters...when they bitch about their gear, they
bitch about the flashes. They're the weak link in any camera system.

The shoe on the 500 *is* overly delicate. I broke mine last night with
a fairly gentle flip of the bracket. It just fell right off in the
middle of the bouquet toss.

The bride gave me a funny look.

"That wasn't supposed to happen, was it?"

"Grr"
