Ergonomical focal point selection is always useful. The MZ-S has it. The only difference is that the MZ-S is less ergonomic than the F100 for people missing their left arm. It also has a much more useful AF point layout than the Nikons. It's almost incredible that so many people don't understand the MZ-S interface.
