Jami, Jim,
I thought that this problem would have been old hat for a couple of old
geezers like you guys. 8^>

If and when the problem occurs the solution, although not elegant, is
to turn off the visibility of the GND ratsnest (or any other large net giving
you the problem). Go to Nets in the left explorer pane, edit the net and check
the Hide checkbox. You will no longer have the analyzing net problem as this
also disables the analyzing of that particular net. You also will not have any
visibility on the GND ratsnest but that is usually less of a mountain to
overcome.

Subject: [PEDA] Analysing ground on large Polygon Pours.

Hi JaMi,

Well now that's another mystery to me JaMi. That one comes and goes for me -
and I still don't know why!! I assume you speak of the final stages of editing
where large polygons are used as power planes. I have done a few large
artworks of this type where none of this waiting..waiting business occurs but
others where it drives me crazy-er!

Anyone out there know how to stop the problem when it comes up or is it just
something we are forced to live with? The most irritating aspect of it is that
even with live DRC switched off it still happens.

Still on 99SE and haven't had it for a while tho'.
