The applications of the principles of correspondence relations, in three forms, 1:1 and 1:many and many:1are intrinsic to the logic of chemical notation as used by CSP. These correspondence relations are necessary to express the truth functions of chemical reactions, chemical equilibrium, chemical thermodynamics and the Law of mass action.
