true, but "in theory" constitutes an important caveat. especially in
teaching-centric institutions, there is emphasis on face time (office hours,
for example), on "efficiency" in the form of classroom seats filled, and on
committee/politics time. but part of this is just that the idea of the
five-day workweek remains firmly in place (in terms of classes especially).
