Thank you for all this help. How does the procedure work? I know that this 
nest is at least 60 years old, so I will look out for white dust if it has 
any (we haven't moved it yet). This tells me that there is no need to 
freeze it because we are fairly certain nothing is living in there. 

Could I spray this on and this would be sufficient? Would I need insulation 
foam if it's indoors?
